The Db2 11.1 Quickstart for Experienced Relational DBAs course is a 4-day course that is designed to teach students how to perform, basic and advanced, database administrative tasks using Db2 11.1. Tasks included are: creating and populating databases and implementing a logical design to support recovery requirements. The access strategies selected by the Db2 Optimizer will be examined using the Db2 Explain tools. Various diagnostic methods will be presented, including using various db2pd command options. This was the class I needed.
The instructor Jeff took his time and made sure we understood each topic before moving to the next. He answered all of our questions, and I don't know about the rest of the students, but was very pleased with this experience.
I finally understand how to use Excel.
