The Developing on the Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain course is a 2-day course that is designed for developers who want a comprehensive dive on Hyperledger Fabric. Students will learn chaincode development, testing, and deployment for a Hyperledger Fabric network catering specifically toward Golang written chaincode (Fabric's original chaincode Language). Additionally, students will learn how to write and prepare Client Applications using the most mature Standard Development Kit in Hyperledger Fabric, NodeJS. The course contains use cases, proof of concepts, as well as interactive lab work for the concepts.

- Understanding why Blockchain is needed and where
- Exploring the major Blockchain components
- Learning about Hyperledger Fabric and the structure of the Hyperledger Architecture
- Learning the features of the Fabric model including chaincode, SDKs, Ledger, Security, and Membership Services
- Performing comprehensive labs on writing chaincode
- Exploring the architecture of Hyperledger Fabric
- Understanding and performing in depth labs on Bootstrapping the Network
- Performing comprehensive labs to integrate/develop an application with Hyperledger Fabric running a smart contract

Prerequisites:
This course is highly technical and requires students to be comfortable with coding. To prepare for the class students should:
- Provide your own computer (Mac/PC/Linux) (labs are hosted in a virtual environment)
- Be familiar with Hyperledger Fabric component structure and purposes
- Have basic knowledgeable of Golang and Node JS
- Have minimal command line interface familiarity
