Course Description:
The AutoCAD Civil 3D Fundamentals course is for Civil Engineers and Surveyors that want to utilize the AutoCAD Civil 3D dynamic and interactive design functionality.
The AutoCAD Civil 3D software helps users to rapidly develop alternatives through its model-based design tools.
The course teaches students techniques that will enable them to organize project data, work with points, create and analyze surfaces, model road corridors, create parcel layouts, perform grading and volume calculation tasks, and layout pipe networks.
The course is taught using the Windows version of AutoCAD, and is not designed for Mac users
Topics covered in the course include:
Target Student: This course is ideal for students who have experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD-based products (such as Autodesk Land Desktop) and a sound foundation of civil engineering terminology.
