Course Description:
The Fixed Assets in Microsoft Dynamics GP - 80576 course is a 1-day course that is designed for students who are interested in learning Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018. The course covers the new features in Dynamics GP 2018 and also the important capabilities of Dynamics GP in general.
Students will learn about the processes required to enter, depreciate, and retire fixed assets. Students will also learn how to perform functions like changing asset information, mass changes, partial transfers and partial retirements.

Target Student: This course is designed for students who want to learn the basic features and the typical day-to-day procedures required to effectively use Microsoft Dynamics GP Fixed Assets. Students will typically work in the one of the follwoing roles: data entry clerks, administrators, office managers, CEOs, and consultants that need understanding of the technical aspects of Fixed Assets and want to gain foundational knowledge of Dynamics GP functionality.
Students should be familiar with Microsfot Windows, general accounting principles, and have taken the Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics GP course or have equivalent experience in Dynamics GP.
Section 1: Overview and Setup Procedures
This section provides an overview of the features and benefits of using Fixed Assets in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 in an integrated environment. The section also covers the options available to customize this section to reflect the way your organization does business. Students learn how to set up assets to track depreciation information for a company. You will discuss how to use asset classes and asset books, to organize asset data.
