Course Description:

  The Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics GP - 80571 course is a 1-day course that is designed for students who are interested in learning Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018. The course covers the new features in Dynamics GP 2018 and also the important capabilities of Dynamics GP in general.

Students will learn about system and company setup procedures, how to use reports and inquiries, how to use SmartList to expand inquiry and analysis capabilities and tips for the user to personalize Microsoft Dynamics GP to streamline business practices.

• Using basic elements like lookup windows, browse buttons and zooms to access data in Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Entering record and window level notes and attaching OLE notes to records
• Using SmartList to export data to Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel for further analysis
• Using the Posting Setup options to define posting processes
• Identifying what is required to use Word Templates
• Customizing system and company setup procedures using the Setup Checklist
• Setting up fiscal periods, account formats, credit cards and payment terms
• Using inquiries and reports to get at the information that is needed from Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Customizing Microsoft Dynamics GP toolbars, home pages and display settings
