Course Description:
The Red Hat System Administration III: Linux Automation (RH294) course is a 5-day course that is designed to teach Linux system administrators and developers who need to automate provisioning, configuration, application deployment, and orchestration. Students will learn how to install and configure Ansible on a management workstation; prepare managed hosts for automation; write Ansible Playbooks to automate tasks; and run playbooks to ensure servers are correctly deployed and configured.
This class is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat Ansible Engine 2.8.
Topics covered in the course include:
- Installing Ansible / Red Hat Ansible Engine on control nodes.
- Creating and updating inventories of managed hosts and manage connections to them.
- Automating administration tasks with Ansible Playbooks and ad hoc commands.
- Writing effective playbooks at scale.
- Protecting sensitive data used by Ansible with Ansible Vault.
- Reusing code and simplifying playbook development with Ansible roles.

This course is geared toward Linux system administrators, DevOps engineers, infrastructure automation engineers, and systems design engineers who are responsible for these tasks:
- Automating configuration management
- Ensuring consistent and repeatable application deployment
- Provisioning and deployment of development, testing, and production servers
Integrating with DevOps continuous integration/continuous delivery workflows
Prerequisites:
Pass the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam (EX200), or demonstrate equivalent knowledge of and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Introduce Ansible
Describe Ansible concepts and install Red Hat Ansible Engine.
Deploy Ansible
Configure Ansible to manage hosts and run ad hoc Ansible commands.
Implement playbooks
Write a simple Ansible Playbook and run it to automate tasks on multiple managed hosts.
Manage variables and facts
Write playbooks that use variables to simplify management of the playbook and facts to reference information about managed hosts.
Implement task control
Manage task control, handlers, and task errors in Ansible Playbooks.
Deploy files to managed hosts
Deploy, manage, and adjust files on hosts managed by Ansible.
Manage large projects
Write playbooks that are optimized for larger, more complex projects.
Simplify playbooks with roles
Use Ansible roles to develop playbooks more quickly and to reuse Ansible code.
Troubleshoot Ansible
Troubleshoot playbooks and managed hosts.
Automate Linux administration tasks
Automate common Linux system administration tasks with Ansible.

The ENCOR-Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies v1.0 course is a 5-day course that is designed to provide students the knowledge and skills needed to configure, troubleshoot, and manage enterprise wired and wireless networks. Students will also learn about implementing security principles within an enterprise network and how to overlay network design by using solutions such as SD-Access and SD-WAN.
This course will help you with:
- Configuring, troubleshooting, and managing enterprise wired and wireless networks
- Implementing security principles within an enterprise network
- Preparing students to take the 350-401 Implementing Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies (ENCOR) exam
Topics covered in the course include:
- Illustrating the hierarchical network design model and architecture using the access, distribution, and core layers
- Comparing and contrasting the various hardware and software switching mechanisms and operation, while defining the Ternary Content
- Addressable Memory (TCAM) and Content Addressable Memory (CAM), along with process switching, fast switching, and Cisco Express Forwarding concepts
- Troubleshooting Layer 2 connectivity using VLANs and trunking
- Implementing redundant switched networks using Spanning Tree Protocol
- Troubleshoot link aggregation using Etherchannel
- Describing the features, metrics, and path selection concepts of Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
