Course Description:
The Deep Learning on AWS course is a 1-day course that introduces students to cloud-based Deep Learning solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
In this course, students will learn how Deep Learning is useful and explain its different concepts. This course also teaches students how to run their models on the cloud using Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2)-based Deep Learning Amazon Machine Image (AMI) and MXNet framework. Additionally, students will gain a better understanding of deploying their deep learning models using AWS services like AWS Lambda and Amazon EC2 Container Service (Amazon ECS) while designing intelligent systems on AWS, based on Deep Learning.

The Db2 11.1 Quickstart for Experienced Relational DBAs course is a 4-day course that is designed to teach students how to perform, basic and advanced, database administrative tasks using Db2 11.1. Tasks included are: creating and populating databases and implementing a logical design to support recovery requirements. The access strategies selected by the Db2 Optimizer will be examined using the Db2 Explain tools. Various diagnostic methods will be presented, including using various db2pd command options. Students will learn how to implement automatic archival for database logs and how to plan a redirected database restore to relocate either selected table spaces or an entire database. The REBUILD option of RESTORE, which can build a database copy with a subset of the tablespaces, will be discussed. Students will also learn the TRANSPORT option of RESTORE to copy schemas of objects between two Db2 databases. The selection of indexes to improve application performance and the use of SQL statements to track database performance and health will be covered. The course delivers a quick start to Db2 database administration skills for experienced relational Database Administrators (DBA).
