Course Description:
The Red Hat OpenStack Administration III: Networking & Foundations of NFV (CL310) course is a 5-day course that is designed to teach network engineers, network operators, cloud operators, and cloud administrators how to manage and tune Red Hat?OpenStack Platform for network performance.
This class can also help students prepare for the?Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) in Red Hat OpenStack exam (EX310, EX310K).
This course is based on Red Hat OpenStack version 10.0 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4.
Topics covered in the course include:
Managing the OpenStack networking service (Neutron) with network functions virtualization to enhance network performance. Students will configure distributed virtual routers, Open vSwitch with Data Plane Development Kit datapath, and IPv6 networking in OpenStack. Students will also deploy software-defined networking with OpenDaylight.

Become a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) in OpenStack, or demonstrate equivalent experience
Complete the?Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack exam (EX210? or EX210K?), or demonstrate equivalent experience

Implement distributed virtual routing
Enable distributed virtual routing (DVR) to provide scaling and performance.
Tune NFV performance
Tune OpenStack networking performance.
Implement NFV data paths
Execute network functions virtualization (NFV) data paths.
Build software-defined networks with OpenDaylight
Create software-defined networks with OpenDaylight (ODL).

The Building Advanced Red Hat Enterprise Applications (JB501) course is a 5-day course that is designed to teach students how to integrate front and back-office applications.
Topics covered in the course include:
- Utilizing the following in a solution: Red Hat JBoss Data Grid, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite, Red Hat JBoss Fuse, and Red Hat JBoss A-MQ
- Use Java EE 6, Java Persistence API (JPA), business processes, business rules, Camel routes, caching, and queuing in the integrations
- Participating in architectural discussions regarding the design, as you work toward a final solution.
Note: Students are expected to have prior knowledge and basic skills in the products utilized.
Target Student:This course is designed for the following students:
Enterprise Java developers
Prerequisites: Students should possess the following experience before attending the course:
- Red Hat Certified JBoss Developer (RHCJD), completion of JBoss Enterprise Application Development (JB225), or experience writing enterprise applications using Java EE 6 specifications, frameworks, and APIs.
- Certificate of Expertise in Persistence, completion of JBoss Development: Persistence with Hibernate (JB297), or experience writing Java entities with JPA and Red Hat JBoss Hibernate.
